Sherlock Holmes - The Movie
I've never been and never will be a big fan of Sherlock Holmes, yet still watched the movie with an expectation to enjoy the Hollywood version of it. Failed big time. Well ... :
- Downey represented a too emotional version of Holmes
- Law represented a too handsome and not-very-smart version of Watson
- The movie shows too many action-acts, bombs, and less detective-like-thinking I was hoping to see. Very different with novel-version-of-Holmes whom had been described as 'skillful in using of astute observation, deductive reasoning and forensic skills'.
Doh, I've always enjoyed the small and baldy detective namely Poirot anyway!
