Shallow? Define shallow!

I am a reader in and out, I’m a book-freak. I just read everything from the bookshelves. However, if I had many choices, I would always choose easy-to-digest literatures, detective kinda novels, cheeky romance, chick-lits, something to ease minds, I would prefer something with a happy ending, that sort of things

I used to hide my shallow-taste, I used to be ashamed and think that I should have spend my time reading something with more life meaning, something more serious, deeper, something that just… not shallow …

Well, I used to.

I once read somewhere, ‘taste is un-debatable’. That’s one thing. Meg Cabot stated through her ‘Princess Diaries’ (o yeah damn right I read ‘Princess Diaries’), that we should put manga(s), our gossip tabloid, our pop songs and others to time capsule, and those will define our culture now. Whether we like it or not, it’s so un-deniable

It is essential that we should not close our eyes for the facts, disasters, sciences, but it’s not all life about. Life is also about enjoying it! To live it right! We need something fun and pain-eased entertainment to keep our life balanced.

Hell, I even learned my English through those so-called-shallow literatures, and I was kept entertained! ^_^
